Character Background and Description Muhammed hails from Syria and signed up during a mass workers recruitment drive by AsterCorps when he was 17. He had swallowed up the propaganda toted by AsterCorp as they offered free relocation, useful life skills and oppurtunities after the construction contract was up. He had come expecting a far grander life where he would be able to study mechanical engineering and work on personal inventions. instead he was assigned to operating loading cranes at high altitudes. After spending almost half his life pushing a joystick and reading manifests, he has lost all motivation in his life to improve it. He regrets taking the offer as the contract was until the construction was complete, an option he took because of its benefits such as free housing and food.
He thinks of his sister and his family back home but has no way to contact them, a rule in his contract to not have contacts with anyone outsider the MDZ. He tries to find uses for scrap and junk he scavenges but so far the only thing he's managed to put together is a portable projector and a short radio system. However he has recently heard rumors of self sustaining robots living somewhere in the city and that had briefly rekindled some interest in his life as he seeks out these mysterious machines.
